Wikimedia Deutschland, UX Researcher
10.2022 - Present
- Leading user research to increase the usability and accessibility of a public, linked-open data service on a multidisciplinary, agile team.
- Conducting user surveys, interviews, and testing, as well as facilitating workshops to develop foundational personas, user flows, user journeys, and product strategy.
- Collaborating with a Community Manager to develop participatory research and design strategy that furthers diversity and representation within our user community.

The Innovation Lab at Capital One, UX Researcher
6 month contract, 10.2021- 05.2022
- Designed and analyzed a 1000+ respondent survey in collaboration with business and product teams to drive product strategy.
- Facilitated 10 workshops for 4 different teams around discovery, alignment, values, and ideation.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), UX Design Fellow
(Civic Digital Fellowship) 10 weeks, Summer 2021
- Designed the UX and UI of a public-facing Medicare website to make Medicare data accessible and user-friendly over the course of a 10-week design sprint.
- Led need-finding, competitive analysis, sketching, storyboarding, wireframing, and user testing with a multidisciplinary team.

The Marshall Project, UX Research Intern
10 weeks, Summer 2020
- Conducted a 700+ respondent survey and 6 user interviews with 24 participants to uncover opportunities to sustain interest in criminal justice, in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Editorial Intern
10 weeks, Fall 2019
- Collaborated with Editorial, Curatorial, and Design teams by editing editorial content and visual layouts for 10+ exhibition catalogs, art books, and gallery text for a wide audience.
- Worked directly with The Met’s CMS and engaged with the institution at large through programmed and individual 1:1’s.
